Stay Ready.

One of my new favorite sayings is: Stay Ready. Why? When you Stay Ready you don’t have to get ready. The truth is, when the battle breaks out, you’re either ready or you’re not. Period.

One of the ways we Stay Ready is by knowing the difference between relaxing and reloading. Let me explain.

A friend of mine named Jesse sat down to interview a man named Clint Bruce. Clint, a former US Navy SEAL, shared this perspective...

“There is a big difference between stopping to relax versus stopping to reload. Both require rest, but the difference is intent. Everyone needs rest, but what are you resting for? Are you resting just to sit around or are you resting to go back into the fight... getting ready to take the next high, hard ridgeline you've been called to?”

Then he said this…“Generally, people make their biggest mistakes in seasons when they are just relaxing, not when they are reloading.”

Rest with the right intent.

When you do, you trade relaxation for reloading.

A high hard ridgeline awaits, and today is the day to reload for it.

Stay Ready.
