Who’s this about, really?
Pride is one of THE giants of life.
We all deal with this deadly foe.
Every. Single. One. Of. Us.
For some. pride is overt. For others, it’s covert.
For some, you can spot pride a mile away and for others, it’s camouflaged. You can’t see it - but God can.
Augustine said it so well: “Humility is the foundation of all the other virtues—Should you ask me what is the first thing in religion, I should reply that the first, second, and third thing therein is humility.”
Raise your right hand and repeat after me:
I will not touch the glory.
Let’s pray a prayer from Psalms today:
“Not to US but to YOUR NAME be the glory”.
